Roy Alston has been trading as Suthburgh Antiques in Long Melford since 1980.

Roy has a Stand at the Long Melford Antiques Centre.

We specialise in Oak, Walnut, & Mahogany Furniture from the 17th & 18th Centuries.

Period Portraits & Paintings complement our stock which also includes Early Metalware.

We also have an extensive knowledge of Clocks & Barometers although these are not in stock at the moment.

Fine 17th Century Oak Court Cupboard deeply carved & with flower marquetry to the top.

The decoration consists of lunettes, crisply carved small cup & cover supports.

The marquetry is well preserved & the doors have the original lignum handles.

Of a small size only 55 inches wide by 20.50 inches deep by 65 inches high.

Circa 1640.
